You are warmly invited to join us in the 100 Kobudo Kata Challenge on April 3rd 2016. This international event is open to all and is free of charge. Join us in Okinawa or overseas at your dojo and take on the 100 Kata Challenge - choose a kobudo kata you know and perform 100 repetitions. Its simple but not easy! Can you complete the challenge??

One more Ryu Kyu Kobudo seminar was organized this month in Athens, Greece by Sensei Katherine Loukopoulos. The grading followed an intensive seminar and was held at Talos Dojo, kindly offered by Orditis Sensei. Sensei Nikos Theodorou offered his valuable help to the practitioners who took the grading test. Dr. Dimitris Zaharopoulos and Mr. Nikos Girginoudis took the test. A week earlier, Mr. Antonis Tzounis had also the chance to visit Sensei Loukopoulos for an intensive 2-day seminar and grading test. All the practitioners were successfully promoted to the next level and were much grateful to Sensei Loukopoulos for their chance to get new knowledge and corrections on their technique.
Sport Kobudo seminar is being held on Saturday, 26th of March 2016. Seminar will take place in Rue Paul Bert, 37520, La Riche and is open to all styles and levels. Seminar is organized by CESAM Uechi-Ryu Karate Dojo and Pascal Guillot Sensei will lead the seminar. Participation fees are 5 € for teenagers and 10 € for adults.
A series of seminars on Ryu-Kyu Kobudo is being organized this March and May in Russia. Organizer of the events is Gruzdev Alexei Sensei (5Dan Shito-Ryu Karate, 3Dan Kobudo) and Futagawa Budo Club. The first seminar will take place in 25~27 of March and will be led by Gruzdev Sensei. During this seminar practitioners will be introduced to the basics of Kobudo and its weapons and. Shozen Arakaki Sensei (7Dan Karate, 6Dan Kobudo) of Okikukai Uechi-Ryu and Kenryo-Ryu Kai Ryu-Kyu Kobudo will give the second, and main, seminar later in May (5~10 of May).
Sensei Heinz Tessner of Kodokan Matsubayashi Ryu Dojo Grossefehn is organizing a Ryu-Kyu Kobudo Seminar in Timmel (Großenfehn) this March.
